Provide the means and the measures for designing and developing all the quality aspects of a software solution, both functionally and technically, in order to meet the requirements and overall quality of the intended solution by creating, documenting and testing an end to end test plan to ensure that all the objectives are met and the solution works as expected.

👉Activities to be Performed

• Build industrialized Features: Design and develop robust backend systems that meet standards for security, scalability, performance, reliability, and quality.

• Manage our systems from the backend to the cloud: Develop APIs and microservices using Node.js with Fastify, manage data flows across SQL/NoSQL databases, and deploy using Docker and Kubernetes (OpenShift is a plus).

• Collaborate with the team: Contribute to Agile ceremonies, estimations, product planning, code reviews, pair programming, and continuous knowledge sharing.

• Improve continuously: Suggest and implement technical improvements to enhance system functionality, maintainability, and developer experience.

• Support production incidents: Assist the production operations team in resolving incidents quickly to minimize downtime and service impact.

👉What do we need from you?

We are looking for a proactive, fast-learning, and technically strong Backend Engineer with experience in building scalable and resilient systems. You should bring:

• 5+ years of software development experience, building distributed and complex backend systems.

• Backend Development:

  • Proficient in Node.js with Fastify.

  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript (Python is a plus).

  • Experience in designing and developing secure, well-documented REST APIs.

• Architecture & DevOps:

  • Solid understanding of microservices architecture, fault tolerance, and error recovery.

  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or similar.

  • Containerization with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes (OpenShift is a plus).

• Databases:

  • Experience working with both SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB).

• Collaboration & Code Quality:

  • Strong commitment to clean code, documentation, automated testing, and maintainability.

  • Contributions to InnerSource/OpenSource projects are a plus.

• Languages:

  • Fluent English is required (daily use in an international context).

  • Spanish and/or French are a plus.
